Custom 6061-T6 Aluminum Intake Manifold Machined for a Canadian Customer

This case study covers the development of a custom billet aluminum intake manifold for an automotive modification customer in Canada. The prototype was machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum using five-axis CNC equipment, rather than being produced as a casting or assembled from multiple welded sections.

Repeat Order for Matte T300 3K Twill Carbon Fiber Car Emblems

Following the successful completion of the first custom carbon fiber car emblem project, the US customer placed a repeat order with updated material and finishing requirements. The new order included several custom emblem profiles manufactured from T300 3K twill carbon fiber with a matte appearance. Unlike the original order, which required painted chamfered edges and an unpainted bonding surface, the repeat order specified clear coating on both sides. The different emblem geometries included sharp outer tips, narrow connecting sections, curved profiles and multiple internal cutouts, requiring careful CNC machining, edge preparation and coating control.

Custom T300 Carbon Fiber Car Emblem for a US Customer

This case study presents a custom carbon fiber car emblem manufactured for a customer in the United States. The emblem was made from glossy T300 3K twill carbon fiber and precision-cut using a CNC engraving and cutting machine. Its complex profile included sharp corners, narrow sections and chamfered edges that required careful machining. According to the customer’s requirements, the chamfered surfaces were painted, while the bonding side was left unpainted and prepared for adhesive installation on the vehicle.

    Yes. NAITE TECH coordinates international shipping for custom manufactured parts.

    Packaging, shipping methods, delivery destinations, and applicable trade terms are reviewed according to your order requirements.

    Final delivery arrangements and estimated transit times are confirmed during quotation or order processing.

  • How long does it take to receive a quote and manufacture my parts?

    Quotation and production lead times depend on part complexity, material availability, manufacturing process, quantity, tooling, and inspection requirements.

    Our team reviews your drawings and confirms the quotation scope and estimated lead time based on your project.

    For urgent requirements, please include your target delivery date in the RFQ.

  • Do you manufacture all parts in-house?

    Instead of managing multiple suppliers separately, you work with one NAITE TECH team for quotation, production coordination, inspection, and delivery.

  • Do you support rapid prototyping and low-volume production? Is there a minimum order quantity?

    Yes. We support prototypes, small-batch manufacturing, and repeat production.

    Minimum order quantities depend on the manufacturing process, material, tooling requirements, and part design. CNC prototypes may be quoted in small quantities, while tooling-based processes may have different economic order quantities.

    Share your required quantity, and we will review the available manufacturing options.

  • What information do I need to request a manufacturing quote?

    Please provide your 3D CAD model, preferably STEP/STP, and a 2D drawing where available, along with the material, quantity, critical tolerances, surface finish, and delivery requirements.

    Our team will review the project and confirm any additional information required before preparing a quotation.

    If your drawings require special confidentiality arrangements, please contact us before submitting them.

  • What CNC machining tolerances can NAITE TECH achieve?

    For unspecified linear and angular dimensions, our CNC guidance follows ISO 2768-1 class m for metals and class c for plastics, unless otherwise specified on the accepted drawing.

    Selected features can be specified to ±0.025 mm, while tighter tolerances may be possible following engineering and inspection review.

    Final tolerance requirements are confirmed against the part design, material, and inspection method.

  • How do you ensure the quality of parts produced by manufacturing partners?

    NAITE TECH coordinates quality requirements with our manufacturing partners based on approved drawings and agreed project specifications.

    We manage inspection coordination, review required inspection results, address identified nonconformities, and handle final acceptance before shipment.

    Inspection methods and documentation are determined by the manufacturing process and project requirements.
